My name is Shannon Carpenter and I have been a medical massage therapist since 1997.  
I received my training for licensure in the state of Ohio from SHI Integrative Medical Massage School, which incorporated a practical blend of clinical and holistic manual therapies,  anatomy & physiology, ethics and business practices.  I have since studied a variety of techniques and treatments for medical conditions, including aromatherapy, acupressure, qi gong, neuromuscular and myofascial therapies, sports massage, pregnancy and infant massage, and cupping, to name a few.  I received my Indiana certification in 2009, the year regulation began for the state.  

Over the years I have worked in a number of settings, including salon, chiropractic and private practices.  By far, the most rewarding has been in my own private practice, where I am able to spend time with each individual, learning about her life, health, influences and needs. 

I currently practice part-time in Bright, Indiana (Lawrenceburg) which is about 10 minutes from I-74 in Ohio and I-275 in Kentucky.
